Section warp boom consists of four wooden strips that are screwed directly onto the warp beam. In the wooden slats there are holes drilled for jumpers that divide the boom into 25 mm sections. In section warping, warping, warping and tightening take place in the same moment.
The tension box in the picture is placed in front of a section and as many threads as must be within 25 mm are pulled on to full warp length.
The method is particularly suitable for long warps and can be performed without helpers.
